ACL CAT5 to Screw Terminal RGB breakout PCB

Due to some local demand I have thrown this little PCB together.


It can be used at either end of a CAT5 cable or even in some cases both ends, it will allow you to send 12 Channels, 4 x RGB groups down 3 CAT5 cables.


It can split 4 channels coming from some controllers on CAT5 out to screw terminals.


We have also included the marks so you can use your Rainbow flood RJ45 connectors and CAT5 and then break out to a normal DC controller near the controller.


Normal caveats apply to Power and current draw on the CAT5 Cable.

Looks like the BOM of
3 x top load RJ45 Socket
8 x 2Pin Screw terminals

will be around $2.50 Max

not yet - waiting on RJ45 Sockets to arrive to confirm hole spacing as i have a new supplier and like to be sure, only then will the PCB's actually be ordered.


The sockets are on the fast slow boat from China atm.
