Hi all - ive lurked for a few years and exhausted my bunnings/powerboard setup and this year I am getting serious (albeit a but late to the game with only 4 weeks to setup!)

I think one is the lucky number as far as posts to be able to PM... You have plenty of time. December 2020 is a long ways away

Its very late to be staring a pixel display now.
Suppliers in China will be at peak with last minute orders.

I'd suggest to keep looking into pixel displays, there is quite a bit! 4 weeks to learn how the controllers and software works is a stretch.

You could start by getting a string of pixels and using a basic controller to cycle through colours, then add music synchronization later.
Start in baby steps, no ones display happens overnight.
