We have changed to Bosco strips for the larger Christmas trees. So our aluminum bases we fitted to the tree steel frames to attach these will not cut it with the string tension involved. This morning we 3D printed some new ones. These are 1.65m in diameter. Pretty happy with these. Next time will print the whole frame. 
For those interested this is ABS with 20% chopped carbon fiber. Printing speed 8m/min bead size 16 mm x 4.5 mm. Print height struts 40 mm and outer ring 60 mm. Print width 32 mm. Print time approx 20 min.
