A Complete RGB system in a box for under $1000 USD

ok this is my first year with pixels and with all the components i have had to buy to make the show my own i have ordered pre cut lengths of strips and strings from the suppliers as no 2 houses are the same so your and will be running a pi also yes your package is a nice idea the only problem i see is that offering a out of the box kit is nice but never easy thats why the thousands of people who do christmas lights make between 60 and 90% of their own displays i would suggest that you offer different element kits as in stars to mega trees as most houses are different in size and shape

I totally agree, Also there is just too many unknown variables even with just doing props.
Which is why most people just do it themselves or stick with the traditional displays.

Also, most people do not want to spend the money for an elaborate display.

at 9:58 he mentons the "soon to be patented".. EZ system.. Sorry to spoil it, but now you've disclosed it, you can't patent it. or if you do, it will be challengable.

If people do then they want the service, quality and experience to back it up or they may as well just go the DIY path

Another consideration for us down under is that by the time something like this gets to Australia then it will be considerably higher than $1000 with GST, import duty, freight and exchange rate charges

In regards to getting a patent, I wonder how that will work when it appears that you may breach other patents

Anyway good luck with it
