Air seed tubing leaping arches vs pixel hole leaping arches

Personal preference/taste come in here. Both are fantastic.

I'm with @Juddge in that I prefer the diffused look of the airseeder arches - but I do see some very good use of pixel based arches, especially the larger ones with the fan style arrangement.

Take a look at both options, see which one you like best, and which you think will suit your display and sequencing style.

i used LED Strip so that it sat right along the bottom edge of the seeder tube as the light go up and over the inside of the tubing,
due to it being hig pixel/meter strip, i get a great colour flow, i get no high points ( bright bleeding of the pixels through the seeder tube) with strip
when i tried bullet pixels inside, because they sat closer to the tube inside, above 40% i could see hot points from every pixel inside the tubing,

the options with arches are
Seeder tubing, with strip, bullets, seed pixels inside
seeder tubing with holes drilled all along the bottom edge with bullet pixels fed into the bottom archway of the tube
plastic tube with holes drilled to face the front of the arch ( side facing the viewers) with bullets prushed through
corro props
with 1,2,3-50 rows of pixels

each arch will have its own appeal to each user

but i prefer the seeder tube with strips inside

youtube has examples of all styles of arches to view and see the difference

I originally started with strips in tube but the effects are fairly limited to what they will do. I also found mine to be more twitchy to assemble and run. I switched over to 3 row pixel arches and like them more.

However, I really really liked the way the arches looked when they worked but that was not enough to keep them.
