I’m setting up my first Christmas display and have been experiencing some unusual behaviour on my new Baldrick 8 (bought as a pre-built unit from Hanson Electronics).
I have 9 coro props (refer attached xlights screenshots). The problem is when I Upload Output and test from Baldrick web interface, there will be one prop not light up. This only occurs when I test under All Configured Pixels test. The First 50 test and All 750 test work as expected. I’ve also tested the lines with a USB pixel tester and all nodes / ports are working. It is not consistently one port that is not working. I’m assuming this is a model mapping issue so I have taken the following steps to isolate the problem;
- Changed ports to models in xlights then uploaded. - The prop not lighting changes (usually the last occupied port)
- Factory reset Baldrick 8. Manually entered the prop characteristics into web interface - same issues
- Deleted Baldrick 8 occurrence in xlights and rediscovered and reassigned models. Same issues
Not sure what else to do.
Added note: sometimes there are three random pixels (and colour) that come on when Baldrick boots which turn off after boot, but sometimes stay on until a test is run.
