It's time for a new release, isn't that exciting!

  • Fix vendor logo formatting on smaller screens, we wouldn't want you to be unable to use test mode due to a giant BUILD A LIGHT SHOW logo
  • We've done some Firmware refactoring and now it looks really pretty and stylish, not that you've noticed.
  • [REDACTED] support (We might be announcing something tomorrow)
  • New managed update mechanism, so you don't have to upload all the boards when we do a firmware release
  • Allow buttons to trigger test modes on remote boards (somebody asked, I guess?)
  • Fix supposed rendering glitches, these glitches have still not officially being confirmed but if they were confirmed, they'd be fixed now.
  • Blank unused pixels after test modes, they had a habit of staying on.

2.4.3

    • Blank LEDs on startup, as requested by Derek Jamison whose pixels start blue, so we've sent a signal to cheer them up.
    • Rewritten the Turnip network discovery code, you probably won't see a difference unless you run more than 5 BaldrickBoards (You could buy more to test it out).
    • Fixed the "relay threshold isn't saving" reported by Robert John MiltonI was going to type something sarcastic here but it was an issue and we've fixed it.

2.4.2

    • An initial fix for a board timeout issue affect some Baldrick8 boards.

2.4.1

    • I could make up something here like bug fixes, but the truth is we typed a .2 instead of a .1 in the release number column
