Bunnings 2021 Halloween/Christmas Stock

Was in at my local Bunnings today in SA and noticed they had their Christmas/Halloween gear out, some of it would be great for conversion to pixels I reckon. Thought I’d share some photos with the ACL community

Starting to unpack it here in NZ as well, had a look yesterday, mostly the string lights so far with the shelves being cleared for more goodies.

Got my reindeer today! Looks good. Helps to have a friend who works there to get heads up when they are in stock. And when we are in lock down. Im after the santa plastic mold as well but not in yet

Picked one of these neat trees up bunnings in NZ $99.. on the assumption I could put my own controller in and sync it eventually

It comes with a remote that lets you set auto cycle or chose a pattern that sticks until you power down the tree

I have some pixels on a "pixel tester" that i will run as a stand alone display this year so this will add some jazz!

Do a search on AliExpress "ws2812b esp8266" flash one of those modules with WLED and you can create so many more effects than an led tester let's you run. Can even send e1.31 data to it if you feel like playing around.
