Hi all,
As the title suggests, Can i use legacy RS232 devices with Falcon/Xlights/FPP at all?
I have a bunch of legacy light matrix displays that are 16 x1 ascii text characters and about 2 metres long.
They use an RS232 interface to accept ascii character data to be displayed as well as using additional control codes to scroll & roll the characters, blanking, flashing etc.
Is there any hardware that i need to make a Falcon controller (or Falcon FPP) send RS232 strings to my legacy displays?
I realise the sequencer WON'T have lamp control of my displays and this will strictly be RS232 data streams being sent to my displays.
Thanks in advance.
