Can you copy and past so an image is stretched vertically

I have the attached pattern



It is a multi-coloured line that goes part he way down and back up on matrix. What I would like to do is have the line go down a little further each repitition. So I would like to be able to copy it and then stretch it vertically over a few more pixels length when I paste it back in. Can this be done in S3.

I'm 99% sure you can only use the "paste to fit" to stretch with relation to time not across channels.

Thanks Alan, that's what I thought. Just wanted to check there wasn't any work arounds that I hadn't heard of.
