Can you please update the map if you ain't running when you say you would be.

Hello.

Rant in coming.

Tonight(31/12/24) here in Sydney. I drove to 4 displays that say they were running till the 31st of December. Some till early Jan. None were running.

Please if you have stated on the light map you are running till the 31st, and then change your mind or were never running that long. Please update the map to say you ain't running.

I opted not to drive to North Richmond who's lights were running to look at lights local to me, where on the map it states it suppose to be running tonight.

Pretty peeved off when I could of used that time to see lights actually running.

Rant over.

Just abit of courtesy. I message these people today to double check. Not everyone lives on here. I had no replies. But as I said, not everyone is checking this site. But that was my safeguard to not waste my time.
 
FYI it is possible (when logged in) to report someone's display location. You'll find this beneath the map on a display's individual page (i.e. the page after your choose "view details" from the main map page.)

This will alert admin and then if appropriate we can adjust the end date. It would be helpful if you leave a report reason with the date visited and the approximate time.
 
In my experience no point trying to drive around after the 25th - we tried and almost none that were listed as running to the end of the year were still going :/
