Posting this here because I can't seem to find a section where questions related to the site should be posted so I thought this was the second best place.
Anyways, I need to delete a thread I created because it was rather rushed and I wanted everything to be in one post so that the flow of the progress I'm covering doesn't get interrupted by an early reply.
I was able to delete my own reply but not the thread itself. Every other forum I'm on that uses the same codebase as this has an option for deleting threads but I can't find anything on this site.
 
I just ended up changing the first (and only) message in the thread to some placeholder text so I can reuse it later
