Where is the best place to buy CCR's? And is there usually a price difference depending on where you buy them?

Price difference? Not usually. LOR pretty much controls price.
That being said, LOR has two sales each year, one around March and one June or July. March being the bigger discounted one. Example, regular price $249, March blowout price $199.

Hey, I have 24 CCRs I did not intend using this year but I would really not suggest them.
The CCRs are very expensive for what you get. I would rather suggest you get the WS2811 strips from Ray as these have exactly the same configuration as the CCRs i.e. 1 control chip to every 3 pixels and come in 5m 150 led (50 channel) lengths. This can be easily controlled from most controllers (I use J1Sys P12S) and will cost you about 1/3 of the price of a similar CCR setup.
Last year I did a mega tree and arches with the CCRs and as a test earlier this year I did the same setup but with the WS2811s and there is no visual difference.
