Chase Effect

Is there anyway to do a chase effect, similar to the chase effect in LSP, on a single strip? Or is this something that could be implemented in a future release?
Also, is there anyway to choose different colours, aside from red,green blue, yellow and white? Like a purple or orange for a halloween display?

Yes, set up a single string model, pick bars, pinwheel, or other efx and apply. You can pick any color you want by clicking on the color boxes. Hopefully we are talking pixel string/strip.
