christmas lights light-o-rama

hey guys, wanting to make a light o rama display this year but am i able to run it on 240v power in australia

Yes cat you can run LOR controllers in 240v. Most of us have actually stopped using the 240v controllers and are using DC controller with low voltage lighting but thats another thing

But all it is is a little bridge connector on the controller that will enable either 110v or 240v

There are other options available to you other than LOR we use a range of options that are LOR but require a bit more DIY but are considerably cheaper and more flexible

It's exceptionally unlikely that you'll get any LOR controller that isn't ordered already by the usual 1st of December switch on. If you want to go with LOR gear then you are probably going to be better off having a post in here and see if 1 of the locals has the gear. There's been a fair few change hands around here over the last few months.
