Hello, new guy here. This is my first year messing with this slightly aggravating hobby. Being a little older, I built up the sequence on my main computer (the one with the 32 inch monitor). Now I can't figure out how to copy/export/whatever the sequence from the big machine to the small machine (Microsoft surface pro) that I plan to run the show from. I have Xlights and Scheduler installed on both machines. Thanks for any help.

The safest way potentially is to open the sequence on the source machine. Go to tools> package sequence. This will create either a .zip file or .xsqz file. Copy that file across to the other computer. If it's a zip file then extract it on computer 2. If it's a .xsqz file then change the suffix to .zip and then extract it. The directory that you created will have the xml files as well as music, images and whatever you used. If you open xlights and change the source directory to the newly created directory you should be good to go. You can tidy up the paths a bit if you want but this is the "easy" single sequence method I'd suggest.

I have all my shows on a dedicated SSD in an external case with “L” as its drive letter and no matter what computer I plug it into it is the same and it all just works as it is the show drive.
Please remember to backup L Drive to ????
