We just got a wine opener from costco that came in a real beefy package - and I needed something to prevent my kids from stepping on my ecg - so a couple minutes later (not weatherproof)

Hmmmm. I have one of those same cases -without the Kirkland logo. However, I've got an ECG-DMXRen8, not a DR4, so I'm not sure it fits.

My ECG package is mounted via standoffs to a nice metal place that I pulled from my recycle pile of parts, and is sitting near the window in my garage. Someday I'll get it all packaged with a power supply in a case, but for now...it works.
