I have been drawing up some new props this week for the CNC and re-stumbled across a video for building custom props that I think is very useful, so attached is a video how to.

xLights Custom Model Builder this can also add submodels and if your like me and your OCD plays up when things aren't all lined up this will help.

Lightshow hub model maker is very good.
Mentioned a the past week on Facebook groups was a query about an 'Auto-mapper' using a camera. There isn't one for 3D (yet) but there is one for 2D props.

Hey, just wondering which CNC you are using

I'm using a kiwi made machine it's only a 1/4 sheet size but has worked out OK for me. I am now starting a new machine build.

Thanks for the reminder about light show hub. The models aren’t perfect but they are definitely good enough for my show this weekend
