Does anyone know how hyper dmx works and the protocol is uses or how it is different then regular dmx.I fully understand that it can output 4 universes over the same cable as standard dmx,I also understand what advantage this would have for me in my own situation with regards to dmx and pixels.I also understand that with hyper dmx it would solve all my issues with making the jump to pixels. So my question is can someone help me with regards to the coding of hyper dmx over regular dmx or any info there of..
Thank-you in advance.

From my understanding hyperdmx is a pseudo standard that Ed from J1sys and maybe a few others developed. As far as pixels goes it's not likely to benefit you at all as 99% of pixel controllers in common use are E1.31 controlled and as the dmx is via ethernet and you can have as many universes as needed over the same ethernet cable then trying to squeeze more data down a dmx cable becomes moot.
