Over on another forum, we're trying to decipher the protocol for some pixel-ish lights sold by Walmart in the US.
It's a self clocked serial shift register format with a single data wire, in a niche like the 2811, but not using that chip's bit level signalling protocol.
So far it looks like a zero bit is around 2 us low and 9 us high, while a one bit is around 9 us low and 9 us high, and each 24 bit RGB pixel data block is followed by about 600 us high.
If somebody recognizes that as a pixel chipset, we may get a boost in understanding what we're dealing with.
