F16V3 - with the addition of SRX4 V4.00

Evening All,

I need some assistance, I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong.

I have a SRx4 connected to a Falcon F16v3 via the DMX1/ Receiver via a cat 5 cable. SRx4 is set to A on the rotary selector and the terminators are set to off as there is one additional SRx2 will be connected.

Port Mode via Falcon Controller = Main Board w/Two Expansions

Serial outputs 1 = port 17 2=port 18 3=port 19 4=port 20

Port 17 -32 have been set to smart receivers

I can get 17-20 to light up, but 21-32 won't work. I've tried switching CAT5 cables and get the same result.

All 16 ports work in test mode on the SRx4.

I can't figure out what step I'm missing

Any help would be most appreciated.

The smart receivers would be 17a, b, c, 18a, b, c, 19a, b, c, 20a, b, c

Eg if you are configuring by hand press the blue + next to 17a twice to get 17a, b, c etc.

If configuring through xlights you'll need to do some right clicking in the visualiser.

Note that on the F16v3, the SRx4 will only work with 12 out of 16 ports.

Can the F16v4 handle the full use of the 16 ports on the SRx4?

Yes it can.
They v3 series only support a chain of up to 3 smart receivers whereas the v4/v5 supports a chain of 6.

The srx4 is the equivalent of 4 chained receivers.

You could even add another 2x srx1 or 1x srx2 off the back of the srx4 with a Falcon v4/V5.
