Answered Falcon F-16v2 no output to lights.

Hi All,

Been a long time and I finally decided to pull my old Falcon F-16v2 out of the attic.

1. updated to firmware B022
2. Can reach the device over the network
3. Have a set of 15 pixels WS2811 connected to port S1
4. Power is being supplied from connector V2 and V1
5. Tested and have 12v at all connectors
6. Test mode I have no light output at all
7. Tried Test mode from web interface and board itself
8. Checked direction of LED and wiring and everything looks correct

Under Port configuration I have:

Port mode Main Board Only

Port 1 Type WS2811, Start Univ 1, Start Channel 1, Pixel Count 15, Group Count 1, End Univ 1, End Channel 45, Direction Forward, Order BRG, Null 0, Zig CNT 0, Brightness 100, Gamma None, Blank in unchecked


It just seems like the board is not sending any data to the light string, bit rusty on this any thoughts as to why I am not seeing any light output and how I can test further?

Disregard, I figured out what was wrong, I had thought the lights were plugged into port 1 but it was actually port 2 - rookie mistake
