My first sequence for 2013 on the new layout.

Not fully versed in LSP yet so I decided to do everything in LOR and Nutcracker again this year. Will try LSP for next year. I am however starting to doubt the wisdom of this complete change.

Very nice, I like the timing and your trees very much. As for changing sequencing software, you are not alone. A lot of people are staying with LOR this year as most new sequencing software is still under development and have updates almost daily. I made the change from LOR to HLS a few months back and it was a real change for the better, but I would not change at this late date. As long as LOR is not willing to make it's software more pixel friendly, I see a lot of people leaving LOR for more flexible and friendly sequencers. Again your display looks great and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

Amen. Light o Rama is WAY too slow in updating their software and competing with companies like Light Show Pro. I'm switching to all pixels next year with DMX and am dumping my two LOR AC controllers. Unless light o rama lowers the ridiculous price on their CCRs, I think that company will be in major trouble in just a year or two.

Looks great Charl !!!

I too am sticking with LOR/Nutcracker this year. LSP is probably OK now but all the crashes and hiccups put me off it, I havent really given 2.8 a chance tho. Time was running out for sequencing so I made the decision a while back to use LOR again. Havent looked back so far.

If I get time I will be importing it into LSP (non RGB's) and giving it a go tho....just to see if it can.

Charl Marais,
This is one great display you have. The colors & lights to the music is wonderful. you have a lot to be proud of in what you have done. We will be anxious to see the other songs you have in your list.
Great job..........

Thanks for the kind word guys.

Full steam ahead for me now. Lucky I have two weeks of leave coming up as well which should give me a bit more time for sequencing. :D

:D HAHA yes. Signature is outdated. 23805 active channels with 27900 lights. 8)

Currently pulling around 40 amps from my 240V supply so I think some optimisation will be required shortly.

Great work there Charl, a display to be proud of, Sequencing with RGB is a whole new battle that gets easier with each year, but it allows a level of creativety where the imagination is the limitation.
