After many months research, work and procrastination along with copious purchases from various vendors my first year musical light show is getting bench tested before final setup begins in a couple of weeks.

There is still some work to be done;
-One of the candy canes needs to be remade (was a reject and looks terrible)
-the music box needs to be completed
-am adding 6 more strings to the mega tree for a total of 30 (yes upgrading even before first show!)
-am adding a winch system to mega tree, the way it is pictured in the photos any repairs would require significant disassembly to get to top pixels
-and about a thousand other little jobs
The tree is free standing and when set up will have about 350kg of weights on the base so is rather stable, but just for a bit of extra will also have 4 guy wires anchored to concrete blocks in the garden beds.
Have also added a couple random pictures.
