first time novice needing advise

i have just recently decided to make the switch to pixel xmas lights. have seen a few displays and i'm competely hooked. i have read the 101 guide, but at times it is overwhelming. i am looking at starting small first. maybe a few arches to go on the front lawn, and link them up to music, etc, and my ultimate goal is to have the whole house down up, so once i have more experience, i will definately look at expanding. i'm just not sure exactly what set up to use, eg: light controleers, psu, etc. any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
also do people make their own smail pvc arches or can they be purchased online?

Welcome to ACL! Might be helpful to put your location so members know where exactly you're located. Lots of helpful members with displays up and going at the moment. Now is the time to go check them out, ask questions and see what is needed to make it happen. Lots of mini's across AUS that would be great to attend in 2023. Best of luck with the display!
