Here are five suggestions for you this Christmas lighting season.

1. Add your display to our 2022 display locations map

Members and visitors to AusChristmasLighting may like to come and visit your Christmas spectacle in person and admire what you have achieved (or you may like to go out light spotting yourself). You can specify the dates and times of your show plus state your FM radio frequency (if applicable) and whether you play music over speakers. https://auschristmaslighting.com/locations/add

2. Submit videos of your completed display to our display video gallery

Videoing your display is a great way for the wider community to see what you’ve done and perhaps gain some inspiration for new additions/changes for their own shows in future years. You can share YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook video links to our video gallery. https://auschristmaslighting.com/videos/add/

3. Spread the word about AusChristmasLighting to visitors keen on creating their own synchronised Christmas light show

You may like to give out this handy flyer from 2017 to interested people, pointing them to AusChristmasLighting. It is an A4 PDF with three flyers per page. https://auschristmaslighting.com/attachments/auschristmaslighting-flier-2017-pdf.11908/

4. Share a daytime behind the scenes video showing how your display is set up

Behind the scenes video tours can help illustrate how your show has come together and give other members ideas for their own display. For instance, you might like to point out a favourite prop and discuss how you built it, plus show what controllers and enclosures you have used. We have a dedicated media gallery category for these called Behind your show:

5. Turn on watch notifications for new threads posted to the Mini Christmas expos & events forum

Minis are organised among members, typically around April-July. They are a chance to meet fellow decorators and talk about Christmas lighting and synchronised light show topics. Be among the first to know when someone creates a Mini planning thread for the city or region you're interested in. You can choose to receive notifications via on-site Alerts, email or both. https://auschristmaslighting.com/forums/mini-christmas-expos-events.68/watch

Best of luck with your 2022 Christmas display! 😁
