*UPDATE*
I was able to successfully configure XLIGHTS to read and use my old LOR configuration. I used the "Add LOR" option in the network and I used the wizard to add all my current LOR controllers that exist in my show. Doing so put me right at 128 channels which is what was needed for the sequences I was using.
In the model tab I made 8 Single Line Models each with 16 strands and labeled them Controller 1-8 and put them into a group labeled "LOR_AC"
totaling to 128 channels.
Converting and importing the sequences perfectly aligned the channels to my models and rendered with no issues after this and left me with a well organized setup.
