G'day all.
I just realised that I've been sitting in the chat room and lurking in the forums for a while but never got around to introducing myself here.
I'm a 30+ year old computer engineer working for Oracle.
I've done christmas lights for a few years (at first by home-made arduino-controlled relays, then by a renard64 for the last two years)
This year is my first go at RGB so I've got a E682 and a few strings of pixels/strips.
Still learning all the wiring stuff but the ACL101 guide has been invaluable ;)
 
Welcome (officially!) to ACL.
As you're probably already aware, plenty of friendly & helpful people on the forum and in chat to ask questions of and learn lots about this habit which quickly turns into CLAP (Christmas Lighting Addiction Problem)
 
G'day cjd, welcome to ACL from just up the road at Swansea. There's no looking back now. You're hooked! Plenty of helpful people here to help you on your Pixel/RGB foray, should you need it.
