I am a complete beginner, I have not ever had a show. However, a neighbor's show here in Austin sparked my interest and he was gracious enough to share enough info to get me started. At this stage I don't think I'll ever have a big show, but a medium tree and some props are well within my capability next year. I look forward to learning more and sharing as I have the need or skill.
 
Welcome, be sure to have a read of the 101 manual it's extremely helpful. Plus if you get stuck plenty of people on here are more then happy to help you.

I read it before posting, it was the reason I registered. Hats off to Fasteddy and Aussie Phil, as well as all the other contributors, on such a solid piece of education.

I'll take a look at vendors, though next season is my target.
