Has anyone seen these, I checked with this vendor but they were a little on the pricey side.

LED Snowfall Lights

I was hoping to possibly find them a little cheaper.

I am even open to making some if I can get some input on how to control them.

What about ideas as to how to make and control them?

How much were they as there seems to be a helluva lot of leds in them and that is possibly why they are expensive? To me it looks like there are about 50 leds per element so I'd be surprised if each element is costing under a couple dollars. To make them would be fairly difficult as they look to have as many as a dozen channels for each of the elements. I'd hate to have to wire up that many channels for every foot of eave.

thats some serious coin......$230 for every horizontal 40". I shudder to think what a RGB set would cost. really nice looking lights though

I have recently bought some "waterfall lights" from bunnings for $59.




Whilst now a snowfall effect, it's pretty damn cool!
