In previous years I have just done Bunnings lights, but this year I am trying to bring them all into sync with some hardware from Hanson Electronics. It is a lot of fun! I doubt I will make it onto any of the Christmas light lists for Brisbane, but I am thoroughly enjoying myself.

One question for admins. Can I suggest you change a setting on the Forum. I signed up, started posting and just by chance I noticed that the default behaviour of the forum is to display the full DOB of the member in the about tab. Obviously in this day and age it isn’t ideal to have that info public (well minimise the amount of times it is public).
Can I suggest the setting is modified to change the default behaviour. (And for any other new members to check and change that setting for themselves!!!). More info is here:

Agreed. Especially since a lot of us already list home addresses on here.

Fair point. I have turned off showing birth year (which also includes age) for new registrations and also retroactively for existing members.
