Hi been stalking the forum for a while now. Went ahead and purchased a ready to run Hinkspix Pro. Not smart enough to put it all together by myself. Going to be asking lots of questions that's for sure. So far I can not even work out how to set a static ip address.

Welcome Thor, I have a little experience with HC and Hinkspix products but there's plenty of smart people on here and we can usually muddle our way through helping people.

There's plenty of videos on the Hinkspix boards on the HC youtube page. I think most of the Hinkspix users are over in the US but I'm sure that there are some ACL users with knowledge of them.
