Well, I will jump in and I'm sure other people will disagree with me, but this is the way I would go. Up front this way may not be the way to go for this year as there is very little time, but is the best way to start in my way of looking at it. I don't know how big you want your arches, but 3 5m rolls of these will be more than enough http://www.aliexpress.com/item/5m-led-digital-strip-DC12V-input-WS2811IC-256-scale-10pcs-IC-and-30pcs-5050-SMD-RGB/568458133.html One of these power suppliesc http://www.aliexpress.com/item/5V-350W-switch-mode-power-supply-LED-power-driver-AC90-260V-input-DC5V-350W-output-constant/1948831534.html and this pixel controller http://sandevices.com/E681info.html .... and LOR S3 advanced software. You won't need a dongle for this setup as the control board plugs into your ethernet port. There is a lot of learning to do with this system and takes some time, but overall will be much easier to control and wire up your arches. Like I said, it might be too late this year to take on something like this and the shipping may not even get to you in time, but I would take a serious look at it for next year for sure. Just my 2cents worth. Hope this helps. John
The title of our introductory lighting manual contains a three digit number. What is that number? Clue: Display basics forum
