I have been putting up standard Christmas lights for several years. This year I tried music with my Christmas lights, it was neat, but I still want to do more. I definitely want to build a pixel tree, and I've seen a lot of snowflakes and wreaths. I would like to make icicle lights to go around the perimeter of the house. I would also like to put some lights on the roof. I have watched a lot of videos, but I still have a lot to learn. I have a decent desktop computer and a couple laptops but I don't really know how all this goes together. How many power supplies, do i need just one controller and where does the rasberry pi come in? Lol. I'm decent with wiring and stuff like that but that's about it.
