Hi all,
I have a confession, my name is John and I have had CLAP since I was 12. I was so excited when I came across a group of people who shared the same condition. I am now 30 and the condition has only become more intense.
I have been a member of this website for a number of years but stayed in the shadows reading and learning.
I first dabbled in controllable lights in 2014 with a 16 channel Light O Rama 240v controller. I now have 2 Light O Rama 16 channel controllers. I combine my animated lights with static lights as part of my show and this year I was judged as the Kingaroy Urban champion. I have attached a picture of my lights in the interlude between shows where all my lights are on.
This year I have plans to get into pixels. I have a Falcon F16V2 from a previous bulk buy last year and a Raspberry Pi. All I need now is to decide on my layout and order the lights and power supplies.
I have registered for the QLD mini this year and I hope to get a little more active on this site. It is a credit to this community that it is so welcoming to everybody and members are so willing to help each other out.
I look forward to meeting other members at the Mini this year.
Cheers, John
