First year with a Lor 16 channel controller and looking to add a falcon controller next year. Is it as easy as Ethernet from Lor to falcon controller and power supply?

Love all the help then everyone provides!
 
Welcome to ACL. Not quite that easy but pretty close. You would need an Ethernet connection from your computer to the Falcon controller. You could run the LOR controller off one of the DMX ports on the Falcon or use the standard USB-RS485 from the computer. Pixels and LOR software gets very expensive... I used LOR for many years until I switched to Xlights in 2015. I would take a look at Xlights. Its free and the support is phenomenal.
 
following on from Uncledan, I started with LOR using LOR software, then LSP, and now using Xlights, have bought a falcon f16v3, and I would suggest you too use xlights, get an f16v3 or similar which has dmx/lor out put then you can run your lor boards off the falcon...check out the f16v3 review by Canispater christmas, he briefly touches on the DMX/LOR serial outputs
