Hi, I've been playing around with WLED for a couple of years and have decided to step it up with an Xlights Christmas display. Starting with a matrix, pixel tree, leaping arches and a few light bars. Getting going with Xlights seems pretty straightforward with forums and trial and error. Getting good with Xlights is a different matter!!

Glad you've been playing around with xLights and some pixels.
Always good to have a play around rather than relying on getting it done at the last minute!

Enjoy the resources here on ACL and you're more than welcome to post a thread for any help/questions.
Live chat is also a good place for a quick question or general chatter.
xLights Zoom room is also a good place to learn from listening. There's usually someone in there to help, or sit back and learn from others giving help.

If you are trying to get good at xlights, bear in mind you can do this without any hardware at all. You can play with layouts, sequences, custom models for props, etc., and look at the previews for free.
