I'm down in Cincinnati. Have lots of family members that live in Alliance.
You have another very good fellow blinky person close to you about 30 minutes south of Canton, so you have lots of company up there.
In my opinion you have found the right forums and chat because this is the place to be for RGB.
As Eddy already stated the AusChristmasLighting 101 manual is a great resource. Start there and then start asking questions in the chat room or post in the forums. Lots of very friendly folks here will be glad to help you move into the next level of animated lighting.
