Hello everyone and thanks for letting me be apart of this group I have always loved these light shows and now with two kids of my Owen I want to start doing them myself so any help would be great please

Also starting off this year. This place is a wealth of knowledge. Im starting for basically the same reason. Little boy ( 3 year old) wanted me to.

That’s awesome as thanks so to start this was my house last year all where led from Bunnings ect and a few blowups but my wife and I have made the call the the amount of money we spend every year on led that don’t work and blow ups that we want to get into the light shows form now on.

what I am asking is that we have the back to school sails on now and I want to get a laptop for the Xlights to start my journey with this and is it ok to look at some that around $400 range?
