Hi all
Long time listener, first time caller....
My name is Brent Daniel and I am a father of 2 girls (my own) and a boy and girl (inherited from new marriage - poms - beautiful humans)
Long time lover of Christmas lights and in the IT industry for many years after a mechanical career.
I am a lover of conventional (warm white) Christmas style lighting and have had many thousand lights on my roof 2 channel 2 wire for a few years now.
I have joined to incorporate Alan's DMX2-18 into the equation to sync all my lights to basically twinkle but am also interested in further engineering a better light display for my community - the neighbours are so happy we take the time to get involved.
Here is last years effort. Including a daytime view and a video. Look forward to getting helpful info to get these lights synced to each other. I believe it was 5 x 500 last year and we are looking at 9 x 500 this year. Santa was added last year and the front fence now has 1000.
And yes I am a few Rums in already for the Friday festivities.
Cheers
Brent
