I was glad to find these forums. DC voltage is what I am primarily interested in when it comes to lighting and my focus
and area of interest has mostly revolved around leds.

I had a long break from microntrollers and associated projects, but back in the late 90's I started somewhat of an xmas lighting war
in my street. It was great and really got the neighbours planning what to do the following year to try and outdo each other. :)

With the changes in LED technology my fascination has always been with RGB devices so I'm looking to incorporate
some of those ideas into my xmas lighting this year.

Looking forward to continue my adventure and being part of the forums.
I am very interested in learning more about DMX and how I can incorporate it into my lighting this year.
 
Welcome, glad you found us, well you are at the correct forums if your looking at low voltage RGB lighting and associated equipment, lots of great new ideas in the pipeline from some very talented guys. Feel free to join in the posts and the chat anytime.
 
WELCOME, You've sure hit the right spot if you want to out-do your neibours.
 
I don't think it will be too hard to beat the ones on my block, as decorations were almost non existant last year.

However one block down, we had two neighbours that went for broke.
These are the ones I am interested in competing with.. hehe
