Hi all,

I've been itching to get into Christmas light shows for a few years now, after the frustrations of taking down our lights last year tangled from the wind, I finally ordered a big box of lights, controllers and power supplies and have now begun installing them.

Starting off with a permanent install along the ridge line of the house and some semi-permanent vertical strips along the windows and verandah poles as well as a mini DIY (5-strand) mega-tree and retrofitting some LEDs to our existing Bunnings inflatables for some extra zing :D

Look forward to seeing other setups and tips and tricks :D

Nothing special just yet, will update as I progress...

Hey mate, I'm interested to know more about your permanent set up? Which lights and mounting system? Is your controller etc always set up as well? Also more on the semi permanent parts.. so pretty much more details on everything if possible as I'm looking at similar set up next year.
