How do you keep 3 models with several sub models synced?

Hello,
Thank you for reading this.
I have made 3 star/spinner/flakes and made several sub models. I would like to program them so that they look the exactly the same and synchronized.
When sequencing the sub models on the star/spinner/flake is there a way to apply these affects to the sub models on the other star/spinner/flakes??
Copying from one row to the next does not always align, and secondly I cannot copy several sub model rows at once.

Group them and apply the effect on the group and change the render style to something like Per Model per preview?
