Do you need to share a shortened music file when sharing sequences? There is a way to share your edited audio files without giving the file to people.
Open unedited audio in Audacity, make all deletes that you want. Now save as an audacity project (*.aup). The final step is to export your edits as the shortened mp3 for your use.
You now give people the link to purchase the original sound file and you give them your audacity project file.
They open the project file, the waveform will be shortened exactly as you planned.
They next export the shortened file for their use. Two shortened files are exactly the same so your sequences can be shared.
