Absolute newbie who is interested in getting into some of the low end of what you guys do here on the site - amazing stuff. Where I live in Mawson Lakes we have some great displays just down the street and I've finally got some time to start preparing for next year.

You've already passed the first step with flying colours. Step 1 being start investigating first-year light display possibilities in November/December for next year.

Have you had a look at the computer-controlled Christmas light shows in already in Mawson Lakes? There are two (that I know of).
