Reaching out to all my fellow blinkies out there. :D

I'm trying to track down some small screws for a project I'm working on but so far have come up short. :(
Hoping someone out there has some contacts

What I need are: box of 100
Preferred:
Socket head cap screws in 304 Stainless
M1.6 x 30mm long and nuts to suit.

To be honest the thread type doesn't matter so long as I have nuts to suit, whats critical is the thickness.
1.5 - 1.8mm is preffered but I could get away with 2.0mm, would just mean about 80 holes to drill

Cheers
Rod

Odd size Rod. Give the guys at Newcastle Hi Tensile a call. Speak to Anthony. If they're available somewhere, he'll set you straight.

Hi Rod

You will find it hard to get your M1.6 in the 30mm as requested.

I have had a quick look at what I can get from my suppliers and I did not find a M1.6 in the 30mm, you can get the 30mm in M2.5 but if you have the room to use a M3 you would be able to source them easily and save money as the smaller the go the less that are made and more expensive they become.

If you need any assistance let me know, contact me at sales@screws2u.com.au

Doesn't look like much stock in the online shop ;) :D

Thanks for the help guys
Ive had several local bolt joints and bearing joints chasing them for me with no luck
I'm waiting on old mate from Choina to give me a quote on making some M1.6 x 30 socket heads.

that is a 1/16th" inch. You'll find plenty of those.

I musn't be looking in the right places? I haven't found any

Can I just say well done to everyone as we have not taken this topic to the gutter.

Good on everyone I Say.

you'd probably even find them at Bunnings, its a very generic part. I checked my hardware suppliers catalogue, and they have lots of variations of it..

Just give one of them a call, and ask.
