Im new here but do have a question hopefully someone can help with

I am building a mega tree 180 degree and 12 strips, is there a way to only set it up in xlights so i can use four ports, so each port on my falcon 48 will control four strips linked together with 200 pixels in each section, or i need to get 4 more receivers just for the tree. I have built and ran a double matrix already but would like to do this for the tree.

yes.

number of strings = 4 = 4 controller ports
number of strands per string = 3

3x4=12

or 4x4=16, depending on which part of your post we are to assume is correct

Heres my setup for 24x50 using 3 controller ports.
