ILightThat is pleased to announce that our latest board the BaldrickSwitchy is now for sale in AUS at Hanson Electronics!

The Switchy is a really easy way to turn on things like snow machines, smoke machines, AC lights and anything else that runs on a circuit (I'm running USB bubble machine that is controlled by xLights on my test circuit!)

Other details.
  • 5v - 24v with onboard power management
  • 4 Relays which can handle with up 8amp and 300v (AC/DC) (also compatible with a zero voltage circuit)
  • DDP, Artnet, E1.31 & SACN compatible
  • Small footprint compatible with other Baldrick Boards & smart receiver mounts
  • Push from xLights integration

And of course we have the full docs on www.baldrickboard.com

What is the best way to wire a Baldick switch for AC? Is it live through the relay and ground/neutral direct to the AC Power? If all relays are being used for AC, can the live be daisy chained between the 4 ports?

Live should always be the conductor being switched, neutral should never be switched unless you are using a double pole switch/relay to do both live AND neutral at the same time. Both the Neutral and earth wires bypass the relays and go straight to wherever you are connecting to. IF you do not understand this, DO NOT attempt to wire this up by yourself, get a qualified professional to assist you

Thanks for that, I thought as much but wanted to double check
