Hi All,
It's your local SmartAlec here,
I’m now offering Electronic Kits for sale (like the ones you made as a kid)

I've made a collection of boards ive been working on over the past year, into Kits.

The Special Thing about these kits, is there based around Digital Christmas Gear and Arduino.
There's BBB Capes, Rasp Pi Capes, Wireless Temperature, an even Wireless and WiFi Pixel's.

Kits are what got me into electronics when i was a kid,
So i thought i would design some Christmas Lights Related kits.

Some kits might need to be programmed. (free software)
Other kits might already come pre-programmed.
An some might need extra hardware (such as capes)

As some people believe there soldering skills are crap.
Im willing to solder the boards up for you.
-(im also thinking of a how hard an time to build sections on the kits)

Currently i don’t have a lot of kits to offer (as im still waiting on some stock)
An sometime's i might introduce a product by a Interest thread here on ACL.

I hope i can help everyone get back into the electronic kit making,
bringing back the true part of DIY

looking forward to what you have coming. now where did i put my solder iron?? ;)

Nice work Alec,

Love the temp monitors.

Next door neighbour is building a tardis and is looking put a pi and FPP to use to run the lights. He wants to make it blinky flashy sometimes as well as traditional.

I seem to recall (testing my memory possibly) you made a really small arduino based wired Ethernet unit that only did 1 or 2 outputs of one universe (or less maybe) also.

Now that I have need a for a tiny unit like this I can't find it. Always the way.

Anyway wireless version might be just as good for me.

Regards,
Rowan

that was ordinaly jago code i used, but now elimo has a wired arduino project as well.

realy depends on what your neighbour wants to do on the tardis? (flash a couple of lights)
did he want webpage driven or push button?
anything is possible in the arduino world.
say what you would like an it can happen

Awesome work Alec it's good to see you are finally getting your blinky on ,Soon you will be on top of your own tree i will be talking to you soon about another project you need to build
