I noticed that they both look very similar, and have the same configuration software. Are they both the same?

The pixcon, alphapix, and PixLite all look similar, but from what I've read they are different. David Moore (HolidayCoro - alphapix) has stated repeatedly that his board is unique from others, but it is hard to ignore the similarities.
Honestly it doesn't really matter as the Falcon F16v2 is not like them and it's the board to buy.

Well done to the guys at Advatek for producing such a great design that it was picked up by LOR.
